About
Denise Osso is a writer and a sculptor.
Her short stories, essays and poetry have been featured in Dorothy Parke’s Ashes, The Los Angeles Review, Persimmon Tree, Pigeon Pages and The Los Angeles New Fiction Emerging Writer Series and Live Writing Series in Beacon, New York. She is an alum of the Tin House Summer Workshop, the Ragdale Foundation and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts Fellow.
Her Christmas song Most of All, I Wish You Were Here has been recorded in the U.S. and Europe and her catalogue featured in film and on television. She has performed Off-Broadway at The Mercer-Brecht, at Café Largo and the Troubadour in L.A., and up and down Lincoln Avenue in sweet home Chicago. Her sculpture has been featured in galleries in Los Angeles CA, Tulsa OK and in Jane Dunnewold’s Damsel, Hero, Artist, Judge: Meditations on Archetypes and Creativity.
